Richborough welcomes Becky Pull and Matt Lacey to the team

Richborough has appointed two new team members to further strengthen their planning and design capabilities.

Becky Pull joined Richborough in January 2026 as Planning Delivery Manager. In her role, Becky is working closely with external consultants to prepare and submit planning applications, while also project managing live applications through determination with the aim of securing planning permission.

Becky holds an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham and brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Barratt Developments, Cala Group and RCA Regeneration. Notably, she was involved in securing planning permission for Himley Village in Bicester, one of the UK’s only Eco Towns to come forward.

Becky commented:
“Richborough has an unrivalled reputation in the industry and I’m really pleased to have joined the firm at such an exciting time. The opportunity to work collaboratively to help bring forward high-quality, sustainable developments is something I’m passionate about and I’m looking forward to playing a role in the pipeline of delivery for much-needed homes.”

Matt Lacey has joined Richborough’s Design Team as Design Manager. He brings over 12 years’ experience working with high-volume PLC housebuilders, including Persimmon, Bellway and Bovis Homes.

Throughout his career, Matt has held roles including Architectural Technician, Layout Designer and Design Manager. He has extensive experience facilitating land bids through viability-led design, securing planning and building control approvals and supporting live construction sites from a technical and architectural perspective.

At Richborough, Matt will focus on the early stages of the design process, bringing invaluable insight into what housebuilders require at the development stage to ensure projects progress smoothly from concept to delivery.

Matt said:
“I’m excited to join Richborough and to contribute to shaping sites from the earliest design stages. Having worked closely with housebuilders for many years, I understand the importance of commercially sound, deliverable design and I look forward to applying that experience to help unlock great sites.”

Karuna Bhatia, People and HR Business Partner at Richborough, added:
“We are thrilled to welcome Becky and Matt to Richborough. Their combined experience across planning, design, and delivery significantly strengthens our in-house expertise. Both bring valuable perspectives from working within major housebuilders, which will further enhance how we collaborate with our partners and drive sites forward successfully.”
