Sydney Mitchell Launches Recruitment Drive to Support Continued Growth Across Key Legal Teams

Leading Midlands law firm Sydney Mitchell has launched a recruitment drive to attract experienced solicitors to a number of its specialist legal teams as part of its long-term growth strategy.

The firm is recruiting for roles in Property Litigation, Employment Law and Corporate Law, strengthening its ability to meet increasing client demand while continuing to deliver the high-quality legal advice and personal service for which it is known.

Sydney Mitchell was recently ranked fourth among the West Midlands’ most client recommended law firms following an analysis of client feedback gathered through Legal 500’s annual research, and continues to be recognised by accreditations including The Law Society’s gold standard, Lexcel.

The new appointments will support Sydney Mitchell’s focus on its people and client service, as well as the firm’s continued expansion across its Birmingham and Solihull offices, ensuring the firm remains well positioned to provide outstanding legal and client services to businesses and individuals throughout the Midlands and beyond.

Karen Moores, Senior Partner at Sydney Mitchell, said: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do. As client demand continues to grow, we’re investing in talented lawyers who share our commitment to delivering exceptional legal advice and outstanding client service.

“Our aim is for our people to build trusted relationships, provide clear advice and help every client achieve a positive outcome – all operational characteristics that doubtless contributed to the firm being ranked among the four most highly recommended law firms in the West Midlands by the Legal 500 research, against international and national firms. This is a tremendous reflection of the care and commitment shown by every member of the Sydney Mitchell team.

“This recruitment drive reflects our confidence in the future and our ambition to continue growing sustainably,” adds Karen. “We are looking for solicitors who are not only technically excellent but who also value building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

“Sydney Mitchell has a strong reputation for developing its people and fostering a collaborative, supportive culture. We are excited to welcome new talent who will help us build on our success while continuing to provide the high standards of service our clients expect.

“We encourage experienced solicitors who are looking to develop their careers and the chance to work in an established, progressive and ambitious firm to explore the opportunities now available,” she says.

The recruitment campaign forms part of the firm’s wider investment in its people and services, reinforcing its commitment to attracting and retaining high-calibre legal professionals while supporting the evolving needs of its clients.

Sydney Mitchell has built a reputation as one of the Midlands’ leading independent law firms, advising businesses, organisations and private individuals across a broad range of legal disciplines. With offices in Birmingham and Solihull, the firm combines specialist legal expertise with a personal, relationship-led approach that has underpinned its success for generations.

Sydney Mitchell LLP was founded over 260 years ago, has offices in Birmingham and Solihull, is a Legal 500-recognised practice, Lexcel accredited, and seven-time winner of Birmingham Law Society Firm of the Year (5–15 partners) / Regional Law Firm. www.sydneymitchell.co.uk.
