Alison joined the Birmingham Colmore Board in 2024 and leads the Accessible & Sustainable Working Group, focusing on initiatives that improve accessibility and promote environmentally responsible practices across the District. She started in the industry nearly 20 years ago and, following a period working in Business Development, returned to the Building Services team at Arup as a Mechanical Engineer in 2014. She now works on a range of multi-disciplinary building designs, collaborating with organisations such as the Universities of Warwick and Birmingham, and PricewaterhouseCoopers on innovative and high-profile projects. Alison is passionate about sustainable design, inclusive spaces, and delivering solutions that benefit both clients and communities.
