Joanna joined the Birmingham Colmore Board in 2024, bringing nearly 25 years’ experience as a social and affordable housing lawyer. She is an Equity Partner at UK Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway LLP, leading the Birmingham office’s Affordable Housing Development Team. Joanna has been heavily involved in the strategic growth of social housing teams across national law firms, advising housing associations, local authorities, and developers across the UK.

Dedicated to fostering collaboration, she works closely with planning, construction, and residential development specialists to deliver innovative solutions. Joanna also serves on the boards of Auxesia Homes, St Arthur Homes, and the Centre for the New Midlands’ Housing & Communities Board.
