Help us support Ladywood’s Community Projects

At Colmore BID, we are committed to enriching both the business community and the local neighborhoods we call home. As a part of our ongoing effort to give back, we work closely with community organizations in the Ladywood Ward—one of the most deprived areas in the UK—to make a real difference where it matters most.

We’ve teamed up with incredible partners like the Ladywood Community Project and St John’s & St Peter’s C of E School to run initiatives such as holiday food donations, uniform drives, and special events like our Supporting Our Neighbours day. Most recently, with the generous support of Thomas Franks, we were able to provide free meals and a day of fun for 100 local families. But we know there’s more we can do.

How You Can Help

We are reaching out to businesses to see if you offer any funding opportunities or grants that we can apply for on behalf of the charities we work with in Ladywood. It’s important to clarify—this is not a request for funding for Colmore BID. We are seeking support for community-led initiatives and Ladywood based charities.

By connecting with businesses that offer funding, we can help them access resources that will enable them to launch more community projects and support those who need it most. Your contributions will directly benefit the Ladywood area.

Interested in Helping? Let’s Talk!

If your business offers any grants or funding opportunities, we’d love to hear from you. By working together, we can build on the fantastic work we’ve already done and make an even greater impact on the lives of those in the Ladywood community.

Please reach out to Kelsey Dwyer at kelsey.dwyer@colmorebid.co.uk to learn more about how you can be part of this important initiative.
