Richborough makes trio of promotions in recognition of commitment

Richborough has confirmed a trio of promotions following a period of significant growth, reflecting their ongoing drive and commitment to securing sites and unlocking land for sustainable development.

In 2025, Richborough’s new deals grew nationwide, underlining our position as one of the country’s leading land promoters. This, coupled with a huge drive in planning submissions and disposals, has driven the need to strengthen our team and invest in future talent.

Katie Saunders and Rhys Tupper have been promoted to the role of Regional Manager.

Katie Saunders works in Richborough’s Central region, overseeing sites from Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The team is one of Richborough’s fastest growing: in 2025 they acquired several new sites which could collectively deliver up to 5000 new homes and submitted a further 13 planning applications.

Rhys Tupper is an integral part of our South East team, which in 2025 expanded to work within the Greater London Authority area for the first time. The team signed 14 new promotion agreements in 2025 and submitted planning applications for 2,600 homes.

Nick Matthews has been promoted to Technical Manager in recognition of his role in supporting Richborough’s expanding technical team and their increasing involvement in complex projects across the country.

James Bradshaw, Richborough’s East Division Managing Director said:
“These promotions reflect Katie, Nick and Rhys’ consistent and valued contributions, each playing an instrumental role in their teams, be it securing high profile new sites in their respective regions, managing the regional portfolio through the planning and disposal process or contributing to unlocking sites through design and technical input with the wider Richborough team.

“They have demonstrated the commitment and key skills required to support our continued growth at Richborough and we’re delighted to officially recognise their hard work, experience and loyalty with these promotions.”

The newly announced promotions form part of Richborough’s strategic vision for the coming years, ensuring Richborough continues to meet the needs of our clients and partners while maintaining the highest standards of delivery.
