“COVID-19 measures having a positive impact” as support for Businesses is confirmed

In today’s COVID-19 Coronavirus briefing, Dominic Raab, the Foreign Secretary, reminded people of the Government’s step-by-step response to the Coronavirus pandemic. He confirmed that 22,141 people have tested positive for the virus. There have been 1,408 confirmed deaths. However, Sir Patrick Vallance, Chief Scientific Advisor to the UK Government, advised that the current measures appear to be having a positive impact.

If your business has been effected by the Coronavirus pandemic, you could be entitled to assistance from the Government, regardless of the sector you work in or the size of your business. If you are Self Employed, the Government has also announced a package of measures to support this sector. All of the current information is available on our Business Support Hub.
