Dishoom Adds a Touch of Magic to Easter with “Family Matka” Dining Experience

Dishoom is bringing a playful and generous twist to the Easter holidays, offering families the chance to win a free meal through a special in-house experience designed with children in mind.

Running on weekdays from Monday 30th March to Friday 17th April, families dining at Dishoom cafés and Permit Room locations are invited to take part in “Family Matka”—a light-hearted game inspired by traditional games of chance, reimagined especially for younger guests.

At the end of their meal, families who dine Monday to Friday and request their bill before 6pm can ask to participate. Children under the age of 11 take centre stage, rolling a dice for the chance to win. If the dice lands on a six, the entire table’s bill—covering up to 12 people—is completely free. Even if luck isn’t on their side, every child still receives a small surprise, such as marigold seeds or stickers, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

Dishoom’s cafés are thoughtfully designed to be welcoming for families, offering a relaxed setting where both children and adults can enjoy a shared dining experience. Younger diners can choose from smaller portions with milder flavours, including popular dishes like Murgh Malai and Paneer Tikka, while adults can explore the restaurant’s full menu of vibrant salads, street food-inspired snacks, and hearty curries.

The “Family Matka” initiative not only adds an element of excitement to family dining but also reflects Dishoom’s commitment to creating joyful, inclusive experiences for guests of all ages.

Families interested in taking part should request a registered Matka token upon arrival. For full details, including terms and conditions, visit: Family Matka terms and conditions

With the chance of a free meal and guaranteed smiles for younger guests, Dishoom’s Easter offering promises to make family outings all the more special.
