We’ve been informed by Birmingham City Council that there will be a number of road closures in the District between 5:00am on Friday 4 December and 5:00am Wednesday 9 December. This is to allow the removal and transportation of the large crane that is currently operating on 103 Colmore Row.
The roads that will be closed are:
- Section of Bennetts Hill extending from Waterloo Street to Colmore Row
- Section of Colmore Row extending from Temple Row West to No.125 Colmore Row
- Section of Newhall Street extending from Bennett’s Hill to south of Edmund Street (c.90m)

During this time, the aforementioned roads will be closed to traffic, however frontages will still be accessible to pedestrians.
While the road closures have been planned for the above dates, if weather conditions are not suitable, these dates may change. If they do, we will inform you of the new dates.
