Donate and feed a family this Christmas

Over the past six months, food banks across the UK have given out over 2,600 parcels to children every single day on average and the Trussell Trust is anticipating its network to be even busier this winter season.

Last year, Colmore BID supported the city’s food banks at Christmas for the first time, encouraging those that work in the District and beyond to donate food and other goods. With the lockdown in place, dropping food off at a central location has proven logistically difficult, so we’ve looked at alternative ways to support.

After speaking to Aston and B30 Foodbanks, we have set up a donations page, where you can choose to donate £10, £20 or £40, which will help feed an individual, couple or family this winter.

The money will be given to the foodbanks, allowing them to stock up on produce as and when they need it, ensuring nothing is wasted.
