Free Sleep Health Training for Night Workers

Night workers across the region are being invited to take part in a free Sleep Health Training workshop, delivered by specialist experts and supported by the West Midlands Combined Authority. The initiative aims to help people who work overnight or rotating shifts better understand sleep health and learn practical strategies to improve rest, wellbeing, and overall performance.

Working at night can disrupt the body’s natural sleep cycle, making it more difficult to maintain healthy sleep habits. These workshops have been designed specifically for night-time workers, offering expert guidance on how to manage sleep patterns, reduce fatigue, and improve long-term health.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from carefully selected professionals with expertise in sleep health. The sessions will explore topics such as the impact of shift work on the body, how to create a healthier sleep routine, and techniques to improve sleep quality even when working irregular hours.

Places on the workshops are limited, and organisations can book up to three spaces per company or organisation. Anyone registering must submit the details for each attendee individually. If someone is booking on behalf of a colleague, they should ensure that the individual has given permission and that their correct details are included in the booking.

Ahead of the training session, each registered participant will receive a special sleep health kit, which will be sent directly to the address provided during registration. This kit will support the learning experience and help attendees apply the advice shared during the workshop.

The free training provides a valuable opportunity for night workers to gain practical tools and insights that can make a real difference to their sleep and wellbeing.

Those interested are encouraged to register early to secure one of the limited spaces available. Download more information here and book your space here.
