Midlands property consultancy Innes England has appointed Tim Ford as a director in its professional services team.

A chartered surveyor with more than 30 years’ experience, Tim specialises in advising landlords and tenants on a range of matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews, business rates, acquisitions and dilapidations.

He joins Innes England’s Birmingham office from Johnson Fellows, where he was a partner for more than seven years. Prior to that, Tim held roles at Lambert Smith Hampton, ES Group and BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Adam Rock, head of Innes England’s Birmingham office, said: “Tim’s wealth of experience and reputation in the market make him a fantastic addition to the team as we continue to grow our presence in Birmingham.

“His expertise significantly strengthens our professional services offering and brings added value to our clients across the region.”

Tim said: “I’m excited to join Innes England at such a dynamic time for the Birmingham office. The team has built strong momentum since launching just a few years ago, and I look forward to contributing to that growth and supporting clients with advice on all aspects of landlord and tenant work.”

Innes England has offices in Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and Birmingham. Following its launch in 2022, the Birmingham office has enjoyed steady growth, both in headcount and new business.

Adam added: “Our ambition for Birmingham has always been to be a multi-disciplinary office and bringing Tim on board take us one step closer to achieving that aim.”
