2022 edit for your cards in the Post Julian [77]

Will your card be in the Post this Christmas?

The UK is facing the worst cost-of-living crisis for half a century. While many people are feeling the squeeze, the picture is particularly bleak for our many young people in the Midlands from low-income families. Many of these families will simply not be able to support their teenage children anymore, as people lose their financial security, the stress and uncertainly leads to arguments and family breakdown.
The homelessness charity St Basils which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year believes that no young person should be homeless or live in fear of it. Unfortunately for too many young people this is now a harsh reality, which is why St Basils is once again reaching out to Midlands based businesses to help them raise funds and awareness by publishing their Christmas card in the Christmas edition of The Birmingham Post.

Send a message to your customers and the community by placing a message in a specifically designed Christmas card, designed by leading creative agency One Black Bear as part of a DPS within the print edition of the paper, as well as receiving a digital version for use on your own CRM and social media.
Barrie Hodge head of fundraising for St Basils said:

“It’s been a tough time fundraising for our vital work, with two years of covid and now the cost-of-living crisis, so we are delighted that, for the fifth year running The Birmingham Post are supporting us with our Christmas card appeal for Businesses by donating a double page spread in their newspaper. It’s a wonderful way for companies to use their Christmas card budget to wish their clients and customers a very Happy Christmas while also helping the most vulnerable in our community at the same time”

If you would like to take part in this, please register your interest by December 10th 2021 by emailing fundraising@stbasils.org.uk.
